Roger Gregory Reserve, Winston Hills

We worked with Parramatta City Council to create this play space with interesting play equipment alongside custom items made with natural materials. The custom cypress pine combination play structure with rope net and slide offers play opportunities for both junior and senior age ranges.

The timber traverse poles with rock grips are an example of our innovation to create exciting play items in-house with quality materials. The trail of timber poles with a mixture of light and dark green hand grips, to suit the client’s colour palette, allow children to safely traverse from one pole to another, connecting the space between the custom play structure and timber swing.

Sandstone, as a natural material, was also introduced in the form of stepping stones and boulders which enrich the material palette and overall play experience. Our in-house artist completed thematic carvings on the stepping stone with the intent that children can find these details with each visit, providing a sense of discovery and wonder.
