Macquarie College, Wallsend

This natural play space renewal for Macquarie College was an exciting project to design and construct. Working with the school from concept to project delivery, we developed a custom adventure play structure and natural agility trail within a thoughtfully designed space that allows for a variety of learning and play activities. The balancing and climbing elements provide excitement and challenge through the adventure structure and agility trail, which are linked by timber log steppers.

The natural materials and colour palette applied throughout the play space allows the play equipment to integrate with the site with sensitivity to the surrounding landscape. The natural experience is enriched by the dry creek with water pump and sandpit which offers sensory play. Sandstone logs around the sandpit help create an outdoor learning space in which students can gather and sit with their teacher.

We are proud of this project which exemplifies our abilities to design intelligent play spaces and create custom nature play equipment.
